“Your SL’s missing an S, ni–a.”-Pusha T

Every now and again a song drops that make you scrunch your face up while listening, and constantly hit that rewind button. Pusha T’s new joint, teased by Kanye West and called “Numbers On The Boards” fits that bill.

“Our family Hov brought that real hip hop Isht this morning so me and Pusha wanna keep that feeling going,” tweeted Kanye West today, his first message since early February and referring to Jay-Z’s “Open Letter” this morning. He wasn’t kidding.

“Ballers, I put numbers on the board,” goes the songs’s hook.” Yeah, the Clipse rapper felt a ways about that MTV Hottest MC’s in the Game snub. But the silver lining is we’re getting lyrically rewarded for it. There are plenty of sick lines being tossed over the numbing track, hooked up by Yeezy himself and Don Cannon.

An early favorite though: “I might sell a brick on my birthday, 36 years of doing dirt like it’s Earth Day, God!,” spits King Push.

Pusha T’s  G.O.O.D. Music and Def Jam debut My Name is My Name is due out later this year. Listen to “Numbers On The Boards” below.
