Frank Ocean used ground zero for all his big announcements, his Tumblr page, to drop the video for “Lost” off of his critically acclaimed, certified goldchannel ORANGE debut.

The Odd Future crooner posted the visual with the subject/caption “Summer 2012” which is probably when all the footage in the clip was taken. We see Ocean jet setting across the globe via trains, planes and automobiles. Not a bad gig at all.

Back in February, Ocean revealed that he had already recorded nearly a dozen songs for his sophomore album. channel ORANGE was released in July 2012 and at the top of the year won the Grammy for Best Urban Contemporary album, beating out the like of Chris Brown and Miguel. During the award show, Ocean performed “Forrest Gump,” leading many to believe that would be the project’s next video. Surprise, surprise.
