Artists can almost never lose with an uplifting anthem. Using that formula, DJ Felli Fel assembles an all star cast in Ne-Yo, Tyga and Wiz Khalifa to flip the concept of an otherwise conventional topic on “Reason To Hate.”
In most cases, artists shun haters, but here the trio embrace and ultimately antagonize theirs by continuing to flourish. The track is led by a hook from the bowler hat crooner, who sings “I don’t know about you. I’m doing what I do, and the way I’m living is great/Only thing I can do, everyday continue, give these haters reasons to hate.”
Thats opens up the forum for the YMCMB and Taylor Gang rappers to kick a couple verses about the various ways to keep scowl on your haters’ face.
