Musician will.i.am. has been dogged with accusations of stealing original works of others before, and is currently embroiled in a growing scandal with his new single “Let’s Go,” featuring Chris Brown. This time, House producer Arty claims the rapper lifted a beat from he and partner Mat Zo. The Black Eyed Peas member admitted doing the act in an earlier radio interview in Los Angeles.

TMZ reports that will.i.am. called in the KIIS FM earlier today (April 23) and all but confirmed what Arty and Mat Zo have been saying about the beat jack. To his credit, will.i.am appears to be making an attempt to make things right in the long run.

From TMZ:

I’m a fan of Arty. I think he’s great and the world needs to know about how talented those guys are. It’s sad that it’s turned into a fiasco but hopefully it’s resolved because I’m a fan of those guys to the point where I wrote to their instrumental.

Thinking that a licensing agreement was already in place, will.i.am. gave the track a green light. The “Scream & Shout” artist says that he and his team are “fixing” the matter and it looks like the issue will be settled soon.

Check out the two tracks below. Do you hear a similarity? Let us know in the comments.
