It took a while, but AZ is finally gearing up to release his long-awaited album Doe Or Die II – the follow up to his 1995 classic. With that, the Brooklyn MC unveils the first single called “We Movin.”

The track caters to true fans of AZ’s street savvy, mafioso rhymes. That wouldn’t be possible without the soulful beat produced by Statik Selektah.

AZ shows that his ability to paint a picture lyrically remains razor sharp with lines like “Saint Lucia, linen shorts and loafs/ Been across the coast, contenders call me the G.O.A.T./ Why quote when women open they throats?”

Now that AZ has the ball rolling, we’re hoping he doesn’t make listeners wait much longer for new music from Doe Or Die II. A release date would be nice too, by the way.

In the mean time “We Movin” is available for purchase on iTunes now, but fans can stream it below.
