The murder case involving Trill Fam artist Lil Phat took an interesting turn back in April when a Russian mobster, Mani Chulpayev, was charged with ordering the killing. Last week, Eldorado Red, who worked with Phat in the past, was arrested and indicted for the late rapper’s murder along with the aforementioned mobster and three other men.

Gary “Eldorado Red” Bradford was arrested June 4 in Fulton County, Ga., and is currently being held without bond according to a report compiled by the Dirty Glove Bastard website. ABC News obtained a copy of the indictment papers from Fulton Superior Court, which names Bradford, Chulpayev, Deandre Washington, Maurice Conner, and Decensa White.

Beyond the murder, the group faces charges of participation in criminal street gang activity, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and possession of a firearm during a felony.

Bradford and Phat, born Melvin Vernell III, traded verses on a pair of their respective mixtape releases. Bradford has also worked alongside Big K.R.I.T., Yo Gotti, and Waka Flocka Flame.

Lil Phat was killed last June outside an Atlanta hospital while sitting in his parked Audi A7 awaiting the birth of his child. He was 19. Bradford’s Twitter page was pretty popular, but his arrest explains why it hasn’t been active since June 3.
