MMG drops music more frequently than any crew in Hip-Hop. With their current focus on Wale’s sophomore album The Gifted, it’s easy for smaller scale projects like Rockie Fresh‘s The Birthday Tape to slip your minds. Today, we receive a quick reminder via the “Kush Do” remix.

Rockie shares the spotlight with Taylor Gang front man Wiz Khalifa on this version. The duo spit over the soulful undertones of Jermaine Jackson’s “Castles Of Sand” on the syrupy production.

Be aware that it’s only Wednesday, but this happens to be the Pittsburgh rapper’s fourth guest appearance on wax this week. Other solid feature verses can be heard on Kelly Rowland’s “Gone,” Wale’s “Rotation,” and Action Bronson’s “Rockers.”

It will be interesting to see where Rockie fits in the fold of MMG’s upcoming releases. After Wale drops, Self Made 3 is new up. Then there’s still the matter of Meek Mill’s highly anticipated Dreamchasers 3 mixtape and Rick Ross’s sixth studio LP Mastermind. Think the Chicago native will get a fair shake?

Hear the pair rhyme below and let us know in the comments.
