Nearly two decades after the untimely death of Tupac Shakur, the rapper ‘s legacy will be immortalized on the famed Hollywood Blvd. Pac is among the names in line to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame next year. 

David Green, chairman of the Hollywood Walk of Fame committee, announced the list of 2014 honorees Thursday (June 20) during Jennifer Lopez’s induction ceremony. Shakur is one of four musicians receiving the accolade, and has been listed alongside Katy Perry, Holland-Dozier-Holland, and Rick Springfield.

Additionally, more than a dozen names in  film and TV are set to get stars next year including Orlando Bloom, Claire Daines, Tavis Smiley, and the late comedian Phil Hartman.

Since his death in 1996, Pac has remained one of the most successful deceased rappers with millions in posthumous sales. Last summer, the New York native made his digital return to the stage during the Coachella Music Festival.

Pac is only the fourth rapper to be lamented on the Walk of Fame.
