Former YouTube sensation Tiara Thomas became one of the game’s top up-and-coming singers because of her work on Wale’s “Bad” (which she co-wrote and co-produced). Many anxiously await the Division 1/Interscope Records signee’s major label debut, but before then, she returns with a new tune titled “4 Dollar Bill.”

Division 1 CEO Rico Love handled production duties on a track that takes Thomas away from the soulful sound most associated her with. Some could see that as a bad thing, but this change of pace may very well be the 23-year-old tapping into a sound she previously had no access to.

The Indianapolis native keeps her lyrics in tact and shows her versatility by singing and rapping on the cut.

“The money do more damage than the mothaf**kin’ fist does,” chants the chorus.

“4 Dolla Bill” is the first single from Thomas’s forthcoming EP, Dear Sallie Mae. We loathe her too, lady. Check out this new cut below. Give your thoughts in the comments.
