Migos have been bubbling in the south for some time, but their music didn’t truly infiltrate the rest of the country until Drake laid a verse over their hard hitting tune, “Versace.” Weeks later (Wednesday, July 10 to be exact), the group made their New York debut at Boiler Room’s Rap Life Player’s Ball series at Westway.

Group members Quavo and TakeOff —Offset is currently incarcerated— performed a bevy of tracks from their overnight smash mixtape, Young Rich N***as. But things didn’t take off until the duo played the sweeping instrumentation from their Drake-assisted heater, sans the YMCMB superstar.

With a bit a crowd participation, Migos recited the Nothing Was The Same rapper’s fiery verse before spitting their own to much fanfare.

Hear the Georgia natives’ Young Rich N***as project here. See them take the stage in the footage below.
