2 Chainz is easily one of Hip-Hop’s few true new superstars. Now he’s looking to avoid the sophomore jinx with his forthcoming album B.O.A.T.S. II: Me Time, which he spoke on and more in a recent sit down with Cipha Sounds, Ebro, and Peter Rosenberg.

The eloquently spoken MC kept it extremely candid in his interview with the Hot 97 trio. He even let go of a surprising piece that will accompanying his new LP — a cookbook.

“My culture has changed. My style of eating has changed, because in order to do what I do, you have to eat a certain way,” explained Chainz. Those who follow the ATLien’s Instagram page can attest to the influx of photos displaying health conscious meals that fill the rhymer’s feed.

He continued, “I eat what it takes to do over 700 shows in three years. I’m actually trying to include a cookbook in my album.”

Chainz hopes that this list of recipes will inspire people to make better eating decisions, and says economic status shouldn’t be an excuse to eat foods that are detrimental to your health. He contends, “Turkey bacon not expensive. Ground turkey not expensive. It’s just about a change.”

Church, sir.

B.O.A.T.S. II: Me Time is due in stores September 10. Hear 2 Chainz speak on healthy eating, why men aren’t in touch with their emotions and more in the full discussion below.
