The LOX have been tugging at fans’ heartstrings for some time with rumors of new material. Today, the trio makes due on their promise with a new track titled “Summer’s Too Hot.”

A vocal sample from Kanye West’s “New God Flow” verse holds down the chorus while Styles P, Sheek Louch, and Jadakiss trade street savvy rhymes.

Those from the inner city know that the summer has an entirely different connotation. As 50 Cent poignantly put it, “See in the hood summertime, it’s a killing season/It’s hot out this b**ch; that’s a good enough reason.” The Yonkers collective expound on that concept on the Scram Jones-produced cut.

There’s no word on where “Summer’s Too Hot” will land, so you consider it a freebie for now. Additionally, Jadakiss is readying his long-awaited album, Top 5 Dead Or Alive, for some time in the near future.
