What is it with rappers not paying their bills? A landlord is suing Chicago rapper Chief Keef for almost $10,000 in back rent. It is only two months worth, though.

TMZ reports:

Georghe Simoniak-Sas filed a lawsuit against Keef — real name Keith Cozart — and Keef’s uncle. In docs, Georghe says Keef hasn’t coughed up rent for the months of July or August ($4,700 /month) on the Illinois mansion he’s renting … but continues to live there.

Georghe says enough is enough … he’s suing for eviction and to collect $9,400 in back rent.

As for the digs … 5,100 square feet, 6 bedrooms, 5.5 baths. Valued at over $1 million.

A lawsuit after two months seems kind of drastic. Simoniak-Sas probably saw the plethora of stories of his tenants run ins with the law and child support issues that he figures he’d cut his losses? Also, considering Sosa’s debut hasn’t even gone gold, it may be time to consider downsizing anyway. Just saying.

Recently, Chief Keef dropped a new mixtape, Bang Pt. 2.
