Maybach Music Group look to cement their place in the ranks of notable September releases with their upcoming Self Made, Vol. 3 compilation album. With that in mind, they liberate a new track called “Bout That Life,” featuring Rick Ross, Diddy, Meek Mill, and French Montana.
Apparently, fraudulence is at an all time high in Hip-Hop and folks are falsely claiming that they can pay what they weigh. In turn, the four rappers put imaginary players near and far in the hot seat.
A braggadocios quote from wrestler Rick Flair ushers in knocking drums and a trap-influenced melody. Meek and French handle the chorus, which chants “You ain’t bout that life” repeatedly.
