Arsenio Hall made a return to late-night television earlier this week, and he’s already had a few noteworthy rappers perform. Last night, Nas joined the shows growing ranks as he rocked the crowd to the sounds of his Life Is Good song “You Wouldn’t Understand.”

The Queensbridge-bred MC was joined by songstress Victoria Monet, who provided the chorus on his poetic depiction of where he’s from and why he retains his street ties. The house band added a jazzy feel to the melodic cut.

In just three days, the reboot of The Arsenio Hall Show has also hosted performances by Snoop Dogg and Mac Miller. Ice Cube also sat down with the host to discuss a forthcoming N.W.A. biopic.
