It looks like A$AP Rocky’s alleged slapping of a fan is hitting him in the pocket. The Harlem rapper has been dropped from a music festival in Canada.
Rocky was scheduled to perform at York University next Wednesday (Sept. 18) in Toronto. However, according to TMZ, the “Wild For The Night” rapper was canned from the gig when organizers considered the slapping incident at the Made In America festival this past Labor Day weekend. According to the school’s student federation, “the event cannot proceed until this matter is resolved.”
According to a female fan, named Lisa Wade, A$AP Rocky pimp slapped her while he was walking through the Jay Z curated festival, which was held in Philadelphia. The assault occurred during 2 Chainz’s set and it definitely wasn’t an accident according to Wade.
Expect A$AP Rocky to be on his best behavior, as do most rappers when they realize pimp slapping fans can and will affect their paper. A$AP has been charged misdemeanor simple assault by the Philadelphia D.A.
