“The mixtape, apparently, is coming now.”

Anyone that has been keeping up with Houston’s own Bun B, many have noticed that the rapper has been relentlessly releasing freestyle after freestyle with no signs of even catching a breath.

Every action has a purpose, and for Bun, the tracks all served as preparation for his third album Trill OG along with promotion for Pimp C’s upcoming project The Naked Soul of Sweet James Jones.

“These songs weren’t even really intended to be a mixtape, as far as, a physical CD or something like that, but I was just tryna get my juices going for the new year.”
