A new NBA season is about a month away and Derrick Rose will be once again suiting up for the Chicago Bulls. The MVP point will be rocking the all new D Rose 4 signature sneakers that adidas has just revealed.
The D Rose 4 launches worldwide on Oct. 10 and it’s design was inspired by Rose’s distinct personalities on and off the court.
“When I’m out on the court I’m doing everything in my power to win, and off the court I’m a pretty laid back guy who likes to spend time with my family,” said Rose in a press statement. “It’s cool adidas used this in the design of the shoe, and it performs great on the court and looks really nice off it.”
The shoe features a distinct, bold straight line down the ankle to allude to Rose’s aforementioned traits. The back heel is a nod to Rose’s explosive game while the front of the shoe features premium materials and smooth design to denote his laid back, back off court persona. The shoe also incorporates the adidas’ Crazyquick outsole traction system, SPRINTWEB technology, dynamic GEOFIT ankle support and an improved molded SPRINTFRAME for extra support. There is also the three stripes on the back heel that has come to mark Rose’s signature kicks.
