It seems The Game’s lengthy reputation for serving fades will continue to haunt him even as he tries to clear up his public image. Earlier this week it was rumored that the Compton rapper punched NBA basketball player Brandon Jennings after they exchanged words at the baller’s birthday party at a Los Angeles nightclub. Today Game denounced the allegations saying he was not the one who punched the star point guard.

In an interview with B.E.T. correspondent and V 103 DJ Big Tigger, the Compton rapper explained that it was another person who landed the punch.“I didn’t punch that dude in the face, man,” The Game said. “I was right there. Some words were exchanged and he got into it with somebody and it took off, man. I was right there. I seen it, but it wasn’t me.”

Jennings has since admitted to being “sucker punched” but cleared Game of any wrong doing. At this time the culprit has not been named nor the reason why the altercation occurred.
