With Old officially in stores, Danny Brown celebrates its release by debuting a visual for “Dope Song.” In it, the Fool’s Gold rapper gets trippy with friends in his old neighborhood in Detroit.
Brown cruises the motor city in the back of a classic Cadillac before posting up in front of his childhood home. Within moment, it’s clear that he still gets love in his old stomping grounds.
Scenes are distorted with an infrared effect that gives the treatment a very druggy look. But then again, the song’s title is “Dope Song.”
