“I’m setting this album, Teflon Don, to be the album of my career.”

After three albums and widespread critical acclaim, Ross is preparing for the release of his new project, Teflon Don.

His fourth studio album released under his Maybach Music imprint will reunite Rick with his “Magnificent” music maker, John Legend for a new song titled “Sweet Life.”

According to Ross the finished project with the soulful singer takes things to new heights.

Speaking in an interview with MTV Ross speaks on the “Sweet Life” saying,

“But the new John Legend [collaboration] is most definitely next-level vibe. We back at it. It’s most definitely creative. Shout-out to John Legend — I think he makes a huge contribution to music. “

Adding to that, Ross says that Teflon Don should prove to be his best album yet, deeming it “more potent” than his previous three installments.

“Myself, I try to get better and better with every rhyme I make — every rhyme I bring to the table, I want to make sure it’s more potent than the last. I’m setting this album, Teflon Don, to be the album of my career.”

In the meantime Ross is also working on his collaboration with Cash Money’s co-founder Birdman.

The two are set to drop their collaboration album later this year.
