Mike Tyson lays it all on the table — his rise, fall, pleasure, and pain — in a forthcoming Spike Lee-directed documentary Mike Tyson: The Undisputed Truth. With a few weeks to go before the film releases, viewers receive a first look at the former heavyweight champion’s poignant tale in the official trailer.
“I know many are probably wondering, what the hell is Mike Tyson going to do up here onstage here tonight — you know, frankly, I’m wondering the same thing,” Tyson said.
Coincidentally, Tyson’s unpredictable behavior defined him during his career, as we saw him act erratically on numerous occasions. But today, he’s an admittedly domesticated and has no issue speaking on his past demons.
Mike Tyson: The Undisputed Truth airs on HBO November 16. Additionally, Tyson recently spoke to New York Magazine about a book he’s releasing, similarly tilted Undisputed Truth, that he co-wrote with Larry Sloman. See five revealing quotes from that discussion here.
