Fredo Santana has easily been the most omnipresent GBE member in recent months. Expect his allure to only rise due to this new cut from his upcoming Trappin’ Ain’t Dead mixtape called “Jealous,” featuring Kendrick Lamar.

The good kid from the m.A.A.d city reminds us that his Chicago roots run deep on the menacing 808 Mafia production. Meanwhile, Fredo kicks a verse and chorus about those whose actions became questionable when the money started pouring in. “These n***as changed and got jealous on me/ Try to rob, I got that felon on me,” chants the Windy City native.

K. Dot adds his two cents by crooning, “I don’t trust these n***as, I don’t trust these b**ches/ Drunk right now so you know I meant it.” Then comes a potent verse from the Compton rep that details how he lost a close friend, and that’s why pettiness like rap beef doesn’t matter in the grand scheme of things.

Trappin’ Ain’t Dead is due to release some time in November. Other guest appearances will include Chief Keef, Lil Herb, and SD. Check out “Jealous” below.
