Lil Scrappy is taking full advantage of the spoils and spotlight being on reality TV has to offer. After enduring a six-year gap in between studio albums, the former Lil Jon protégé switched his focus from music to being the most authentic Hip-Hop figure on the hit television series, Love & Hip Hop Atlanta.

Now that the focus is on New York and Peter Gunz, Scrap is back doing what he does best and that’s living his life through the recording booth.

The Atlanta rapper recently singed a new deal with Chinga Chang Records, a division of Orchard and Sony Entertainment. His third LP, Reparations will follow soon after, which Lil Scrappy serves as executive producer for the project.

Wasting no time getting back into the mix, the singles “They Hate Me” and “Juicy On My Mind” will be released in a few coming weeks.

What’s the consensus on Lil Scrappy’s return to rap? Can reality stars make a viable comeback? Place your comments below.
