It comes as no surprise that the appeal of Hip-Hop culture has transcended across the globe. The imagery of a rapper’s wardrobe and demeanor alone were enough to influence nations that reached nations that were still considered Third World.
On that note, meet Riceboyliu.
Asian rappers haven’t had a great deal of success in the American realm, (remember Jin?) but the self-proclaimed “Angry Chinese Rapper” is looking to change all that.
His angle, albeit a gimmick, is a unique one. He can conduct his rappity-rap in six different languages and there’s video to prove it.
Over an original recording produced by DJ Xross, Riceboyliu creates his art in English, German, Spanish, Russian, Korean and Chinese. For the hearing impaired, there’s subtitles but they come out in their respective languages.
