With Because The Internet weeks away from releasing, Childish Gambino premiered yet another song from the LP last night on The Arsenio Hall Show. Titled “Shadow,” the cut is smooth in a manner similar to the actor-turned-rapper’s recent releases.

With the assistance of a band and guitarist Thundercat, Bino began the live performance while seated on a couch Indian-style next to Hall. The artist formally known as Donald Glover made his was to the stage as the song reached its climax. It was then that the band’s presence became better felt on a Rock-inspired bridge.

Gambino can be seen crooning, “I just h0pe you understand,” emphatically in front of the live studio audience.

“Shadows” will be track six on Because The Internet, which also includes records like “Worldstar” and “3005.” The project is set to release December 10. See Childish Gambino perform the heartfelt tune on The Arsenio Hall Show below.
