Charles Barkley played his college ball at Auburn so of course he was ecstatic after the football team’s upset Alabama on Saturday (November 30). This lead to the Round Mound of Rebound to buy drinks for everyone at the bar and to awkwardly rap along to Jay Z and Kanye West’s “Ni**a In Paris.” Yes, there is video footage.

Reports Deadspin:

We saw Charles Barkley the day before the Iron Bowl. Now, we can see what he did after Auburn pulled off the upset. The Tigers alumnus enjoyed himself and celebrated with fans, paying for drinks and cracking jokes.

Tipster Dan was at a bar called En Fuego when Barkley entered a few hours after Auburn’s win. Barkley reportedly took the microphone to talk trash about the Crimson Tide: “I just wanna take a moment to acknowledge all the Bama fans in the house… Thanks for playing and get the hell back to Tuscaloosa. Roll tears roll. War Damn Eagle.”

Dan says that Barkley announced he would buy everyone drinks for the next three songs, and told the DJ to play “Tom Ford” for Tigers defensive lineman Dee Ford. And, as seen above, he rapped along to “Paris” at some point. Chuck is the best.

Charles Barkley is a national treasure. But he is definitely not a rapper.
