In news that should surprise absolutely no one, another rapper has been hit with a sizeable tax bill by the IRS. Master P owes Uncles Sam almost a quarter of a million dollars.
Reports TMZ:
Master P will be doing his part to resolve California’s debt crisis … he just got hit with a giant tax bill.
P — aka Percy Miller — was slapped with liens for unpaid California taxes in 1999 and 2000 … according to docs filed by the state tax board.
The documents show he owes $237,027.41.
The rapper/entrepreneur scored his biggest hit with “Make ‘Em Say Uhh!” in 1998.
This will probably make him say ugh.
If these taxes are from 1999 and 2000, who is handling the IRS’ collections department?
This is just the latest personal setback for P. The Ice Cream man’s wife, Sonya Miller, filed for divorce in October.
