Each new release makes the fact that Cilvia will be Isaiah Rashad‘s first project ever all the more vexing. Yesterday, he debuted a smooth cut named after Houston legend Scarface that he calls “Brad Jordan,” featuring Michael Da Vinci.

To have never created a project, TDE’s newcomer sure has his sound down pact. And if not, he and his partner in rhyme sound mighty convincing on this mellow groove. Rashad experiments with a flow that pulls inspiration from a bevy of influences.

The chorus chants, “Feeling like I’m Brad Jordan,” repeatedly in a way that’s reminiscent of something Curren$y say. But Rashad also manages to do so without sounding like a biter.

Produced by Danny Dee, the song will appear on one of six projects TDE plan to drop in 2014. Be on the lookout for more news about Cilvia. Until then, tune into Isaiah Rashad’s “Brad Jordan” below.
