Over the weekend, Hip-Hop lost rising star Doe B to a senseless act of violence. But just a few days later DJ Whoo Kid debuts an exclusive track by Raekwon featuring the deceased rapper and his Hustle Gang boss T.I.
Titled “I Wanna Know,” the three MCs trade verses without a chorus in sight. The Chef kicks things off for Doe B, who followed with a strong second verse. The Kang serves as the closer with bars that may or may not be about a certain incarcerated Atlanta rapper (word to the Moreland avenue reference).
Separately, Montgomery, Ala. police had a major break in Doe B’s murder case, as they’ve apprehended the alleged shooter. Hopefully this will provide his family, close friends, and industry peers with some solace.
