Snoop Dogg’s recent visit to the White House has led him to the moment he’s always longed for.

To perform for the President of the United States.

The dream came full circle days after he was exchanging pounds with Secretary of State John Kerry during the 2013 Kennedy Center Honors.

Much to the entertainment of the black-tie crowd which included Mr. and Mrs. Obama, famed musician Carlos Santana, and actress Shirley MacLaine, Snoop hit the stage in a custom-fitting tux himself performing U3’s “Cantaloop (Flip Fantasia)” before transitioning into a special version of his own “Gin & Juice.”

The U3 record was made popular due to its Herbie Hancock sample “Cantaloupe Island,” hence the shrewd choice selection.

The “Dogg,” sometimes “Zilla,” is currently up of for a Grammy Award under his other alias of “Lion” for his reggae-tinged album, Reincarnated. It showed his versatility as an artist during a stage when most artist’s his age fan out in their careers and also released a series of noteworthy videos.
