While speaking with Nipsey Hussle late last year, Hip-Hop Wired inquired about his working relationship with fellow Los Angeles MC Dom Kennedy. An array of collaborations by the duo throughout last year created a demand for more, and according to the Crenshaw mastermind, that could happen in the future.

“We was recording at the same studio the majority of 2013,” Nipsey explained. This and the fact that he’s a fan of Kennedy’s music opened up their collaborative work. Neighborhood Nip continued, “A lot of times I’ll start a song and he’ll hear it. I’ll be like ‘Hop on that sh*t if you f**king with it.”

Nipsey revealed that he and the Lemeirt Park native have more heat tucked away that could possibly land on a full-length project. But wait, there’s more. As we move through 2014, the LA wordsmith plans to use his words differently.

“We working on a book with this dude Johah Berger, who’s the author of the book that inspired the “Proud To Pay” $100 album concept,” Nipsey said speaking on the writer’s book, Contagious. “And in the press, I’ve been talking about how inspiring that book was to the marketing for my album. We got on the phone and spoke, and spoke via email, so we’re going to do a collab project together.”

Note that this is only the tip of the iceberg for Nipsey Hussle, who also plans to release his Victory Lap LP and officially partner his All Money In imprint with an official label. Hear him speak below.
