Pharrell stans nearly blew a gasket, in a good way, when he announced plans to release a second solo LP in 2014. With that, we may have received the first song from the highly anticipated release.
This all when down at Holy Ship!!!, which is a three day cruise during which a list of popular electronic artists perform on one of multiple stages. Skateboard P’s set occurred while the ship was docked at a private island in the Bahamas.
Of course, he ran through a list of hits that be produced, including Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky” and Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines.” But he did manage to sneak in an unreleased track that features his actually rapping. This comes after news that his next body of work wouldn’t be a rap album.
