Love is all a matter of timing for those with youth on their side. To put it simply, it’s based on whether one is ready to make that leap, and that’s the message on Naj Murph’s “U.”
The track comes with a small screen adaptation, which the newcomer describes as a “concept visual demonstrating the dynamics of a long-distance relationship.” In the clip, Murph can be seen speaking slyly to and interacting with his significant other via Skype and other means — looking happy at that.
For some, long distance love is a stretch, but the New York-born, Atlanta-based MC represents the a polar opposite sentiments. A melodic beat by fellow up and comers, Midnight Marauders, hosts Murph on the song. Taylor Brown directed the clip
