Maino maintains his upward momentum with his second bit of output in three days. Titled “Lights Camera Action,” the track features the rapper rhyming alongside fellow New Yorker, Troy Ave, and MMG’s Meek Mill.

With a line up like this, listeners should know to expect nothing but authentic street music. Maino and company celebrate their rags to riches stories over a Cardiak-produced beat that has a bubbling soul sample and thumping drums.

This is the type of track that’s meant to be played at loud decibels. Our only gripe is that Harry Powder’s role is limited to the chorus.

Like “Watch Me Do It,” featuring French Montana and T.I., “Lights Camera Action” will be on the Bed-Stuy native’s forthcoming King of Brooklyn EP. Expect that to release February 4. Until then stream a radio rip of “Lights Camera Action” below.
