Last week, Jamla owned the Internets after dropping a handful of records from the Jamla Is The Squad compilation album. But today, the clique upped the ante by streaming the full project to coincide with its release.
Listeners have been blessed with a whopping 25 tracks to digest and enjoy featuring some of your favorite MCs. Guests include Jamla’s own Rapsody, Big Remo, ADD-2, Halo, and TP, as well as Phonte, Talib Kweli, Masta Ace, Blu, Elzhi, Rapper Big Pooh, Pete Rock, Lecrae, Styles P, Ransom, Joey Fatts, Buckshot, and more. Production comes from the likes of in-house producers 9th Wonder, Khrysis, and Kash.
The aforementioned leaked cuts included a monstrous effort titled “No Competition” by Kweli, Elzhi, and Phontigallo. If that and the other records are an indication of what to expect, then you’re in for an audible blessing.
