Early June is a bittersweet time for Hip-Hop heads since it mark both the birthday (Feb. 7) and anniversary (Feb. 10) of J Dilla‘s death. Notable streetwear brand Stussy has created a capsule collection to commemorate the late Detroit producer and MC. Reports Freshness:
Hip-hop community would never be able to forget the legacy left behind by prolific producer J Dilla, a talented producer who left us too early. Stussy is teaming again with the legend on a set of t-shirts and long sleeve t-shirts. This third effort puts focus on the man himself, printing his portrait on the front of the garments. Crowned by a hand drawn crown, the same graphic is repeated on the back neck over the J Dilla text. Both styles will be available from select Stussy dealers from this Friday, February 7.
