Saks Fifth Avenue isn’t the first place sneakerheads think about when it comes to copping kicks, but that may change. The luxury department store is launching a sneaker section on the 7th floor of its flagship in New York City, with more to come.

Don’t expect to find any generic sh*t kickers for sale there, though.

Reports Racked:

Saks Fifth Avenue is launching a men’s designer sneaker section on their seventh floor, which includes kicks from Jimmy Choo, Fendi, Dior, the Adidas by Raf Simons collection, and more.

“For the last three seasons, the whole dress/designer sneaker business has skyrocketed,” Saks’ men’s fashion director Eric Jennings told WWD of what has been dubbed SneAKS. Male customers are “willing to take risks and be more fashion forward.”

Called SneAKS (see what they did there?), the new department will officially open on February 22.
