Def Jam signee Elijah Blake could have a very big 2014. To kick things off, he returns with a track titled “Sing For Me,” featuring Rick Ross and The Game.

A very familiar Rose Royce sample from Cam’ron’s hit single “Oh Boy” was chopped and flipped into a bouncier record that could have suited a rapper or a crooner. Clearly an aficionado of the latter, Blake lays buttery vocals about a woman who prefers a good night over love.

Of course, that’s a topic MCs know all too well, so Ricky Rozay and the Compton native were able to properly back with complimentary verses. There’s no word on if “Sing For Me” will appear on an official project, but you can hear more from Blake via his 2012 EP, Bijoux 22, and tracks like the J. Cole-assisted “Vendetta.”
