It seems Cam’ron is prepping quite a comeback. He recent unveiled his custom capes with designer Mark McNairy during New York Fashion Week. HOT 97‘s own Miss Info caught up with the self proclaimed “Cape God” to talk about the line and other upcoming projects.

The Diplomats rapper admitted that we all might be waiting longer than expected for the capes to hit retail. “You know we have the clothing line Dipset U.S.A., it’s something me and my team have to sit down and talk about and see if it makes sense for everybody. We’re going to auction off one [cape] and see the response and go from there.”

In terms of musical efforts Killa is set to be very busy for the balance of 2014 with multiple projects. “I got the First of the Month project coming out probably next month, Dame put together the A-Trak collaboration which is called Federal Reserve” Cam’ explained.

“Me and Smoke DZA got a project going on. It’s like five different projects, basically what we’re doing now is just trying to figure out the timing for everything. It’s probably 150 new songs done. We’re just trying to place them properly and get the timing.”

At the tail end of 2013 Cam’ron released his Ghetto Heaven Vol 1 mixtape. Since then he has dropped a freestyle here and there but nothing has yet to stick. With what looks to be a very ambitious 2014 in front of him, do you think Killa can recapture the streets?
