Three years ago, Kanye West had the world in a frenzy each week in anticipation of the G.O.O.D. Fridays releases. Since then fans have been pleading with the G.O.O.D. Music founder to bring back the series, and according to CyHi The Prynce, that may happen sooner than expected.

During an interview with MTV, the Atlanta native discussed his current dealings with West, who’s taken him under his wing in recent months. While working with Ye, CyHi says that he’s crafted a few mixtapes and his debut album is slated to release this year. Everything bit of unreleased music in between could become a G.O.O.D. Fridays track.

“I’m doing it. I’m making sure it’s coming back,” CyHi said about the weekly event. “See now, he’s [Kanye West] my partner long enough to where I can say, ‘Ye, we doing this, we doing this and we doing this.'”

Working closely with the G.O.O.D. Music founder allows CyHi a certain access to songs that are in the proverbial vault. The rapper hopes to motivate West, “because Ye got a lot of stuff that I’m like, ‘Yo, no one’s ever gonna get to hear this Ye!’ I hear the fans, I understand what they want from the G.O.O.D. Music family.”

It would be nice to see G.O.O.D. Fridays make a proper make a proper return, but we’ll have to wait to see if CyHi The Prynce’s claims come to fruition. Hear more in the footage below.
