Yes, you read that right. A few weeks ago, Pharrell announced that the now famed Vivienne Westwood ranger hat he wore at the Grammys was on sell on eBay, and someone apparently made the top bid over the weekend.

In a strange twist of fate, fast food company, Arby’s, whose familiar logo bears an uncanny resemblance to Skateboard P’s head garb of choice, purchased the hat for a whopping $44.1K. The Neptune producer let the cat of the bag with this tweet: “Thank you to whoever bought my Grammy hat on @eBay for $44,100. Your donation benefits From One Hand To AnOTHER.”

Arby’s then publicized their purchase with a tweet in response. “@Pharrell You’re welcome. We’re HAPPY to support a great cause & get our hat back. Good luck at the #Oscars tonight!,” the brand wrote. Prior to the hat being bought, the Virginia native sent message Arby’s way that stated, “Hey @Arbys, you want my hat? Now’s your chance…”

The hefty proceeds will benefit Pharrell’s own From One Hand to AnOTHER charity, an initiative charged with “supporting the Pharrell Williams Resource Centers’ (PWRC) learning programs developed for every one of the underserved youth between the ages of 7 and 20 in at risk communities throughout the country.”
