Baltimore is coming up more and more in Hip-Hop conversations these days. Credit that to up and coming MCs like Malik Ferraud, who returns today with a visual “You Alive.”
The Charm City native unleashed an onslaught of thought provoking tracks in recent weeks, and this release is of that same fabric. This time, somber piano keys echo throughout an instrumental that inspired rhymes about the internal conflicts of an up and coming artist. This includes the general feelings of Ferraud feeling under appreciated, especially when his goal is to impart wisdom on listeners.
