The students of the New West Coast are displaying themselves as a unified movement without any substantial chain to identify the links.

Coming off of huge co-signs from fellow Bay Area aliens Sage the Gemini and E-40, Clyde Carson is finally see his grind pay off and he can accredit the motto of “No Sleep” to his burgeoning successes.

The visuals for the trappin-n-rappin anthem finds Clyde and the rest of his team cooking in the kitchen as they whip up plenty of inedible goods for the streets to enjoy. And those aforementioned goods don’t grow legs and serve themselves, so it’s plenty of riding dirty from that point on as he and the crew treat every sector of Oakland like their personal recreation hangout spot. Director Bryant Robinson keeps the clip in a black-and-white overtone, which tends to be a rarity these days when it comes to Hip-Hop videos.

“No Sleep’s” rhythm and grooves are ganked from Carson’s latest Playboy EP, which is a decidedly West Coast affair (as it should be). The DJ Mustard-produced “Bring ‘Em Out” reveals there is plenty more of ammo in Carson’s arsenal where the first round was fired off.

Watch both visuals below and grab the Playboy EP on iTunes or stream it via DJ Booth if you like to try before you buy.
