The Alchemist is on a roll that’s understated to say the least. In fact, he’s planning to shake things up again via a collaborative album with Budgie called The Good Book, from which we receive the second single, “With My Soul.”
Let us preface this by saying this track is crazy. Credit that in part to verses from Action Bronson, A$ton Matthews, and J.Rocc. The trio attack the cut three the hard way with verses that will inspire a grimace or two from listeners.
Alan The Chemist and Budgie crafted an instrumental that could evoke the holy spirit out in listener. But that’s the case with much of The Good Book, as it samples gospel to create grandiose sonic compositions featuring a bevy of MCs like Roc Marciano, Prodigy, Domo Genesis, Blu, and more.
