Nearly every artist has a similar goal in mind to be rich, famous and backed by a prominent record label, with the how-to’s varying for each individual along the way.

The Milwaukee-bred, Atlanta-raised K Camp has used his apparent talents as a songwriter, charisma and work ethic to create a substantial movement that thrives outside of the Internet and Instagram photo-ops, and his latest announcement displays such evidence in full.

Mr. “Money Baby” himself proudly posted on his social networking handles that he had just inked a deal with the house that Jimmy Iovine built saying, “Just signed my deal w Interscope Records; Takeover Time; #InDueTime,” while leaning back in an executive office suite in the accompanying photo.

The latter portion of the blurb was a direct reference to the “In Due Time” tour K Camp is currently on. His self-made movement has recently seen the 23-year-old collaborating with the likes of Nipsey Hussle, French Montana and Ty Dolla $ign, so it wasn’t just the suits who were recognizing what was truly taking place in the streets.

“Dreams do come true! I deserve this sh*t. I promise you!,” he continued on his Twitter, before excitedly doing his best Stevie Wonder fake account rendition. The youthful talent joins the likes of J. Cole and Mike WiLL Made It, who also recently signed with the legendary imprint.

If you happen to be late to the K Camp party, luckily he just released a mixtape in K.I.S.S. Pt. 2 for such occasions.
