Times are certainly a-changing for the worse if we’re referencing children acting awry in the public eye. Social media apps like Facebook, Vine, and most recently Instagram video have created a platform for new web sensations, whose actions seem to fall on blind eyes and deaf ears to parental figures.
In many cases, said authorities cash in on their child/children’s new found “success” in a way that warrants a call to the Division of Youth and Family Services (DYFS). If anyone currently comes to mind, it’s Georgia’s Lil TerRio, who went from an adorable, rotund kid with an affinity for dancing to a much heavier kid, garbed in leather attire and surrounded by video vixens.
Again, times are a-changing and we question why parents would allow their kids to demean themselves for a little limelight. Even Lil Boosie’s daughter’s recently became popular after a video of her using the N-word went viral last week (this wasn’t the rapper’s doing). The Louisiana native spoke on what he said his daughter about the harsh word, but that’s more than can be said about some of the kids creating laughter and the like on the Internets.
Hip-Hop Wired rounded up a list of kids who don’t deserve half the a$$ whooping that their parents do. See a gallery of children being exploited in the gallery on the following pages.
