The mtvU Woodie Awards are more so about the diverse offerings of music than the actual winners.

Drake may walked away with the biggest bragging rights but undeniably dope Chicago rapper Vic Mensa increased his stock and visibility by tackling the award show’s bullhorns and turning them into hamburger.

The XXL Freshman ’14 hopeful confidently rocked a stage with the likes of Lil Wayne, Phantogram and Danny Brown and wooed the unsuspecting crowd with his new signature hit, “Feel That.” Vic’s most recent full-length, INNANETAPE has steadily been gaining traction since its September release and the brand-spankin’ new record looks to capitalize off of everything he’s built up thus far.
