Atlanta rapper DG Yola has been arrested and charged with murder, among other offenses. Born Mario Talley, he was nabbed Friday night (March 14) as a suspect in two shootings, one of which was fatal.

Police have arrested a suspect wanted for a pair of shootings, one fatal, at a northwest Atlanta apartment complex.
Mario Talley, 28, was arrested Friday and charged with felony murder, aggravated assault and attempted robbery, Atlanta police said. He’s alleged to have shot and killed Rodney Walker last Sunday night at the Daron Village Apartments on Harwell Road.
Walker was found dead by police in the rear of the apartment building. Police said he had been shot multiple times.
Another man, Isiah Knight, told police he had been robbed and shot outside the apartments. He was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital in stable condition, police said at the time. Investigators linked both shootings to Talley, who is being held at the Fulton County Jail.
Ironically, DG Yola was himself the victim of a shooting in 2007. Also, he reportedly served a 1-year bid for aggravated assault from 2009 to 20010.
