Nearly a year after Chance The Rapper released his breakout Acid Rap mixtape, fans are anxiously awaiting to see if the follow up, Social Experiment, can make a similar impact. Today, 2013’s Rookie of the Year returned with artwork for the project and an unreleased track to hold fans over.

It’s unclear Chance released the official cover, but what’s seen is inspired by the Chicago White Sox logo. He made the revelation via Instagram in a photo caption, “Social Experiment… Coming shoon.” Additionally, the MC released the original idea for what became a collaborative track called “Life Round Here (Remix)” with roommate James Blake.

Titled “Save Yourself First,” the song is similar to the final version. For the most part, the differences lie in the instrumentation. See the tentative illustration for Social Experiment below, as well as the aforementioned cut.
